Business Bio

I am a therapist offering telehealth services across Washington State, specializing in supporting individuals navigating major life transitions. As a member of the LDS community, I understand the unique cultural and spiritual aspects that can shape your experiences. With a compassionate and client-centered approach, I help clients manage challenges such as grief and loss, life-changing medical diagnoses, relationship shifts, faith and spirituality, and personal growth journeys. Having a therapist who understands your worldview, vocabulary, and cultural background can create a deeper sense of safety and connection in the therapeutic process. My goal is to provide a supportive space where you can gain clarity, build resilience, and move forward with confidence.

GRIEF AND LOSS

In my therapy practice, I offer a compassionate space to process grief in all its forms—whether you are anticipating a loss, navigating the shock of an unexpected goodbye, or learning to move forward in a life you never planned. Grief is not about letting go but about finding a way to carry your loved one with you while building a future that honors both your loss and your own growth. Together, we will explore your emotions, create meaning in your experience, and support you in shaping a life that feels whole again, even in the presence of loss.

DIVORCE and INFIDELITY

Facing divorce or the betrayal of infidelity can shake your sense of self, leaving you to grieve the life you once planned while confronting deep feelings of loss, fear, and uncertainty. In therapy, I provide a supportive space to process these emotions, untangle the pain, and reclaim your sense of worth and strength. Together, we will navigate the grief, rebuild your confidence, and help you create a new life rooted in your values, resilience, and personal strengths—one that is authentic, fulfilling, and truly your own.

LIFE CHANGING DIAGNOSIS AND LIVING WITH CHRONIC ILLNESS

Receiving a major diagnosis, navigating a new disability, or living with chronic illness can bring overwhelming emotions—grief, fear, uncertainty, and frustration. In therapy, I offer a compassionate space to process these challenges while also helping you find peace and joy in a life that may now include pain and limitations. Using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), we work together to create a meaningful life, even in the midst of uncertainty. Rather than fighting against difficult emotions, I help you make space for them while focusing on what truly matters—your values, your strengths, and the moments of connection and purpose that bring light into your life.

SECOND ACTS

For many women, we move through life in service of others in our homes and our communities.  We can find ourselves at some point wondering who we are outside of our relationships and formal roles. You might be sending kids off to school or entering a new phase of life as an empty nester.  Roles you've spent your whole life immersed in all the sudden are changing and you are wondering what you are now that that age, era or phase of life is at an end.  I love working with individuals who are finding themselves at a place in their lives wanting to reconnect with themselves and how they want to move forward in their lives that reflects their own wants and needs, personal values and ways to show up in their lives as their authentic selves.

SUPPORT FOR CAREGIVERS

Being a caregiver for a loved one facing major illness or end-of-life care is an emotional and often overwhelming journey. In therapy, I provide a supportive space where you can process the complex mix of love, grief, exhaustion, and uncertainty that comes with this role. Together, we will navigate the emotional weight of caregiving, set healthy boundaries, and find ways to care for yourself while honoring your loved one. Whether you are seeking resilience in the moment or preparing for life after loss, I help you find meaning, balance, and strength as you walk this deeply challenging yet profoundly important path.

END OF LIFE

Facing the end of life brings a flood of emotions—grief, fear, uncertainty, and sometimes even relief or regret. In therapy, I provide a compassionate and nonjudgmental space to process these feelings, reflect on your life’s meaning, and find peace in the time you have. Together, we explore ways to honor your journey, strengthen connections, and create a sense of closure that aligns with your values and wishes. You don’t have to walk this path alone—I am here to support you in finding comfort, meaning, and emotional rest as you navigate this deeply personal transition.

FAITH DECONSTRUCTION AND RECONSTRUCTION

Faith deconstruction and reconstruction can be a deeply personal and sometimes lonely journey, filled with questions, doubts, and fears about how your evolving beliefs may impact your relationships with family and community. In therapy, I provide a judgment-free space where you can explore your concerns openly, process the grief and uncertainty that can come with questioning long-held beliefs, and navigate the complexities of faith transitions. Together, we will honor your experiences, help you connect to your own spiritual authority, and support you in creating a path forward that feels authentic, grounded, and true to who you are becoming.

HOPE AFTER LOSS

Even in the midst of life’s hardest transitions, there is hope for a future that is full, meaningful, and joyful. You don’t have to navigate this journey alone—together, we can find a path forward that honors your experiences and leads to a life that feels whole again.
