The Networker is AMCAP’s newsletter and focuses on the latest findings, research and issues facing faith-based counselors as they address timely and controversial topics with their clients. AMCAP members can also access all past issues of the Networker, in our Newsletter archives.

3. Opportunity to Publish in a Peer-Reviewed Journal

Issues in Religion and Psychotherapy is the official journal of AMCAP – to which, members are invited to submit papers. Since 1975, this peer-reviewed journal has been a resource for AMCAP members and others interested in mental health insights, research, and techniques consistent with Latter-Day Saint doctrine.

4. Opportunity to Present at Conferences

AMCAP members are permitted to submit topics and materials for approval, as presentations at the annual convention in Salt Lake City. If approved, you will have the opportunity to present your latest research, techniques, skills and expertise.

ldsamcap.org/directory is a searchable directory that is the top-ranked website for all Latter-Day Saint mental health service categories, where clients can find you by your name, location, license type, affiliations and other professional credentials. You can also add links to your own website, social media sites and mapping services.

6. Discount on Event Registration

AMCAP members receive a discount on registration fees for the annual convention and other live events held throughout the year. The AMCAP convention is held in Salt Lake City and presents news, positions, research, treatments and training that reflect the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Presenters include; General Authorities, guest professionals, AMCAP leaders and select AMCAP members.
