I am trained as a Marriage & Family Therapist. In particular I am trained in & practice Narrative Family Therapy. Narrative practices look to the person, rather than the therapist as the expert. if these practices had a motto it would be "The person is not the problem, the problem is the problem"; therefore, for this reason I co-author a new relationship between the individuals, couples, & families & the problem bringing them to conversations with me, helping them to find new agency. I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1995 while serving in the Army in Alaska. I served my mission in Salt Lake City, Utah. I was married in 1999 in the Anchorage Alaska Temple to my sweetheart who introduced me to the church & we have six children.
