Dan Oakes MEd LPC CSAT

Dan Oakes was born in Liberty Mo and was seventh of nine children. His family moved to Mesa Az when he was 11 years old, and he eventually attended High School at Mesa High where he was Student Body Pres. Dan went on a mission to South Carolina. Upon his return, he obtained his bachelor's degree at ASU and completed a master's degree from NAU. Dan is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Sexual Addictions Counselor and is in private practice and functions as the founder and director of the Arizona Family Institute.  Dan is committed to his wonderful wife Shannon, and their five children and has served as a Bishop, Stake President and currently serves as the President of the Washington Everett Mission.  Dan loves the Gospel of Jesus Christ and seeks to find balance in his service to the Lord, his family, and his professional life.
