Dr. Zelig has a national independent practice in forensic & clinical psychology, with offices in Utah and Alaska. He frequently serves as an expert witness for civil and criminal cases involving psychologically-based evidence. In his role as a therapist, his foremost goal is to help people merge their spiritual values with psychological science to make progress with problems from anxiety disorders/ depression; attention deficit disorder, and complications caused by trauma. He helps couples save or enhance their relationship. He also has extensive experience treating those with sexual addictions and others with poor sexual boundaries. Dr. Zelig earned his Master's Degree from BYU and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Alabama. He has obtained diplomate certifications in forensic, clinical, and police & public safety psychology. In 1998 he was elected by his peers to chair the Police and Public Safety Psychology Section of the American Psychological Association (APA) – then the world’s largest organization of police psychologists. From 2010-2011, he served as the co-chairperson of the Ethics Committee of the Police Psychology Section of the IACP. He has also served on APA's Committee on Continuing Education. He has a combined total of more than 130 professional publications, presentations, and workshops. He has one son and four daughters. He enjoys long distance running and the Alaska wilderness. After completing the Mayor’s Marathon in Anchorage in June 2005, and visiting a daughter residing in Skagway, Alaska, he opted to open an office in America’s Last Frontier.
