The AMCAP Board is committed to producing educational conferences of the highest caliber.  We invite you to join us in delivering a learning experience that advances the education and field of counseling professionals while bringing to light the truths found in LDS gospel principles.

We are now accepting proposals for presentations.  We encourage research-based, innovative and creative presentations that help counseling professionals gain skills and knowledge.  This year, the convention theme is Creating Connection. Although we welcome presentations on any topic related to mental health within the context of the convention theme, we are particularly interested in topics on the following subjects:

·         Suicide prevention, intervention and assessment

·         Anxiety/Depression

·         Treating Addictions

·         LGBTQ Issues

·         Social Media

·         Interpersonal Relationships

·         Change and Transitions

·         Trauma Recovery

·         Shame

·         Spiritual and Religious Disconnection
