Business Bio
Our emotions play a key role in our identity. They help us understand ourselves and our environment as well as inform our decision-making and behavior. It is highly impactful to identify emotional patterns and recognize how those patterns are contributing to a healthy and satisfying life or impeding forward progress and well-being. My objective, as a counselor, is to assist you in identifying your emotional patterns and how they may be affecting your life. I then offer different interventions and strategies to guide you in regulating emotion as you heal from trauma, attachment injuries and other difficult life challenges.
I work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families dealing with betrayal and other trauma, addiction, attachment injuries, anxiety, depression and grief. I use interventions that are emotion-focused, mindfully self-compassionate, and attachment based. I am certified to treat betrayal trauma, Gottman level 1 trained and training in EMDR and IFS.
I am an emotion-focused therapist who works with clients from a place of deep empathy. I strive to create an atmosphere in therapy that is warm, safe, and trustworthy while putting my clients and their emotional experience at the center of the therapeutic process.
