P. Scott Richards, Ph.D. received his Ph.D. in 1988 from the University of Minnesota and has been a licensed psychologist since 1992. He provides counseling and psychotherapy services to adults who need assistance with emotional, relationship, and spiritual concerns (e.g., depression, anxiety, eating disorders, marital dissatisfaction, spiritual struggles, etc.). Dr. Richards’ describes his therapy approach as a spiritually inclusive approach that is integrated with person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, and emotionally-focused psychotherapy approaches–all of which have been proven effective through many research studies. Dr. Richards believes psychotherapy should be a safe and supportive place where you can share your concerns, feelings, and goals–knowing that you will be respected and supported in your journey toward growth and wholeness. Dr. Richards has met all requirements to practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (PsyPact) which means he can provide teletherapy services to people who live in Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Nevada, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
