I provide individual therapy over Telehealth (Arizona & Utah) or in-person at my office in Mesa, Arizona.
I work with clients who:
- Experience anxiety (general feelings or panic attacks)
- Depression (long-term or recent onset)
- Trauma (complex or otherwise)
I seek to work with my clients to help them discover ways to cope and see the world differently. This can positively impact their interpersonal relationships and breed more inner peace.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Arizona and Utah. I received my Bachelor’s degrees (Psychology and Human Development) from the University of Utah and my Masters degree from Brigham Young University. I have received training in CBT, TF-CBT, MBSR, FST, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and DBT.
I have a great desire to always learn more about the connection between the body and spirit. This has driven me to find and employ modalities that are inclusive of both.
I have over thirteen years working in the field and have been amazed by the resilience of humans and their innate desire and ability to heal as they come to Christ.
I have worked in many clinical settings from outpatient to residential to school settings and most recently started a private practice. This has given me the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients and develop a focus in the above mentioned areas.
This career is invigorating! When people ask how I continue to do it after so many years I tell them that I love being on the healing side of people’s journeys. I am originally from Utah but have lived all over the United States and love meeting people from around the world.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions or read my profile on Psychology Today for more information. I am available for a free 15 minute phone consultation if you have any questions.
