I am an EMDR specialist and serve clients in trauma recovery, depression, anxiety, self-harm, motivation, self-esteem, anger management and substance use. I also work with the effects of Domestic Violence. I also have experience with adoption and attachment concerns, Borderline Personality Disorder, divorce and step-family dynamics. Along with EMDR, I also ascribe to various Cognitive-Behavioral Therapies, including Motivational Interviewing and Solution-Focused Therapy as well as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, to best meet the needs of my clients.
I have pursued my passion for serving others with a Bachelor Degree in Psychology from Utah State University and Master in Social Work from the University of Utah. I was thrilled to be honored with the Dr. Sharon Goodwill Memorial Award for Achievement and Promise in Mental Health from the U of U College of Social Work. My goal is to serve my clients to heal, learn and successfully navigate the struggles that hold them back from a full, enriching life.
