Patrick Poor

Patrick Poor is a trauma therapist in Southern California and is also licensed in Utah.  He helps people get rid of old pain and the symptoms it causes.  He considers a trauma disorder to be anyone who has had a painful experience in their life, and it is still affecting them in a negative way.  He uses a treatment modality called Trauma Conversion Therapy that is very effective at removing the pain caused by most types of trauma.  The technique is effective, relatively painless, and usually qualifies as short-term therapy.  PTSD is treated as a Dissociative Disorder which allows it to be cured.  Other trauma disorders are usually resolved quickly as well.

Patrick is a CEU provider for the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, and offers professional training and CEUs in the diagnosis and treatment of Dissociative Disorders.  He presented at AMCAP Conferences in 2014 and 2015 on the topic of treating PTSD as a Dissociative Disorder.  Those videos are still available on the AMCAP website.  Patrick welcomes opportunities to share this healing art with other professionals, for the benefit of their clients.  This usually shortens their time in therapy, and makes the use of other treatments more effective.
