I received my doctoral training in Counseling Psychology at Brigham Young University and completed an APA-accredited internship at the Baylor University Counseling Center located in Waco, Texas. I have worked with individuals who have experienced a wide variety of concerns including: depression, anxiety, stress management, trauma, abuse, relationship distress, identity development, phase of life transitions, sexual identity, pornography use, disordered eating, self-worth, addictive behaviors, and concerns related to spiritual and religious identity.
I take an integrative approach to therapy to create an authentic and empathetic therapeutic relationship that serves as a critical factor for change. I strive to understand and respect the unique identities and experiences of the individuals I meet with.
I love to spend free time with my family and friends, creating meaningful memories of new adventures. I enjoy participating in and following my favorite sports, especially basketball. I have a love of learning and look for opportunities for growth in both my personal and professional activities.
