Business Bio
"People start to heal the moment they feel heard." Cheryl Richardson. We each have a story. Our relationships, past experiences, successes, failures and our "roots" all help to create that story. I believe that at our core each of us has power, goodness, inherent strength, and wisdom. I also believe that in the process of life there are chapters in our stories that can lead to anxiety, depression, self-doubt, conflict and negativity which can pull us away from the ability to access the strength at our core. I am passionate about working with people of all ages to reconnect with their true-self and guiding wisdom.
I have experience working with clients of all ages and their families experiencing chronic illness, serious medical diagnoses, end-of-life issues and grief. I also work as a school social worker and have worked extensively with children, adolescents, and their parents in navigating through challenges in life.
I believe in the concept that we are all learning and I enjoy working with clients seeking greater wisdom and self-power as we brainstorm, clarify goals and celebrate each success they achieve on their path to wholeness.
I am certified in the Mind-Body Bridging therapy modality and can work with clients in gaining the knowledge and skills to practice MBB. I am also experienced in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Trauma-Focused.
