Edward Callirgos

Edward Callirgos is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He is an AZ Board of Behavioral Health Examiners Approved Clinical Supervisor and an AZ Attorney General's Office Trained Advanced Mediator.

Edward Callirgos is the owner of The Bridge Counseling Consulting & Mediation and The Arizona Restoration Therapy Clinic. The practice provides a variety of psychotherapy services and workshops. He has been featured in Voyage Magazine, Good Morning Arizona, Telemundo AZ, Podcasts and has been a presenter at the AMCAP conference. He has been a columnist for the Arizona Republic: In the Family and an adjunct instructor at Mesa Community College and Instructor fir BYU Idaho online.

Edward Callirgos has been the recipient of the Minority Fellowship Award from the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy Association.

His specializations are: High Conflict Couples Therapy, Domestic Violence Focused Couples Therapy, Infidelity, Parenting, Post divorce counseling, and Pornography addiction.

He also sees individuals 17 and older struggling with: Personal growth and development (self improvement), Depression, Anxiety, Anger, Suicidal Ideation, PTSD, and Emotional Dysregulation. He has been trained in various models of therapy but often deploys:Restoration Therapy, EMDR, TF-CBT, Narrative Therapy, Psychoeducation, Mindfulness, and Biofeedback- through heart rate variability. When Edward is not at work he is spending time with his wife and 4 children. He enjoys sports and working out regularly. He also likes spending time with the family pets: A Maltese, A boxer and a Bull boxer.

Edward Callirgos is a second generation Latino born in the United States. His parents immigrated from Peru; and is a convert to the church. He was baptized when he was 21 and served a 2 year mission 1 year later at 22 in the New York, New York South Mission (Brooklyn/Queens). Edward Callirgos has served in various callings and leadership responsibilities.
