Working with couples, divorcing couples, newly married, and happy couples who want to safeguard and enrich their marriages through ongoing preventive therapy.
As a client-focused marriage and family therapist, I believe every individual, family, and situation is unique. I draw on a variety of therapeutic techniques that encourage a solution-focused outcome while utilizing the strengths of my clients. Together we can keep your life moving forward with a sense of hope and optimism.
My passion is working with couples, divorcing couples, newly married, and happy couples who want to safeguard and enrich their lives through ongoing preventive therapy. I believe in building communication skills between individuals, and expressing love and respect for each other while clearly defining boundaries. This extends to establishing healthy relationships with ex-spouses and solution-focused parenting of blended and two-home families.
I have the ability to connect and understand my clients, getting below the surface, and to the core issues quickly. Where other therapists have failed, I have brought hope to those feeling frustrated and depressed with their situations. There’s no need to suffer endlessly in silence—therapy works. We will use your strengths to set goals, resolve struggles, and promote healing.
I hold an M.A. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from John F. Kennedy University, as well as a B.S. in Corporate Finance. I have worked as a consultant to several high-tech firms in Silicon Valley, as well as volunteering within the community in various roles. My wife Julie and I are the parents of two sons and three daughters.
