Business Bio

I believe that treating the whole person is an important part of healing; knowing how your body and mind react to stress or trauma helps you recognize warning signs and patterns that cause you to feel anxious, tired, stuck, overwhelmed, or all the above! Trauma can often trigger responses in our relationships that we don’t like or understand. I am trained in a modality called Lifespan Integration that helps the body and mind work through trauma to recognize that it’s over. Lifespan Integration is also helpful for working through grief. I also use Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you understand how your thoughts affect your relationship with yourself and your environment.

Lifespan Integration (A branch of EMDR)  is another modality I use in my practice to help process grief, trauma, and relationships. Lifespan helps your body and mind to process through things at a faster pace and calm the nervous system.

Pre-Marital & Marriage Counseling

I work with highly motivated couples who really want to work on their relationship. Those who want change, but don’t know where to start or where to go next. Marriage and premarital counseling can help you learn to change generational patterns. It can also help you identify triggers you or your partner experience, so you can help each other in different ways. Marital or relationship problems happen when we lose connection and stop nurturing the relationship. When we learn to nurture the relationship, new patterns emerge. I work from well-researched modalities; Imago Therapy and Gottman, both have decades of research. Please visit our Services page for more information.

Adult Family Therapy

Sometimes, families struggle. Dynamics change as children become adults, and a different kind of help is needed. Change is needed. This might mean new boundaries, and different ways of problem-solving and growing together so that family bonds can be strengthened.
