Jodi Hyde
Jodi Gutierrez is a Master’s level licensed associate counselor through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners who specializes in marriage and family counseling and child therapy. Jodi’s passion is to bring hope and healing to each client through a non-judgmental, empathic approach with sensitivity and love. Her focus is to explore the origin of challenges, seek understanding, and guide individuals towards more insight, self-discovery, and resolution. Jodi’s experience includes working with children and adults with relationship issues, depression and anxiety, behavioral and parenting issues, and grief and loss. She is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which helps couples gain secure attachments, rely on each other in times of need, and have vulnerable conversations. She has also studied play therapy in which the power of play is used to build trust and rapport with children struggling with life circumstances. Jodi is a member of the American Counselor’s Association and the LDS Association for Mormon Counselors and Psychotherapists.
