I have been a therapist for 25 years. I have been the Director of Wellspring Counseling for 16 years. Education: BS Psychology, BYU Provo, Masters Degree in Social Work ASU 1995. I have extensive experience assisting clients who are experiencing emotional pain, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles and other personal challenges. My goal is to provide a safe, respectful environment where clients can examine their challenges and rediscover their strengths. My therapeutic style is direct but supportive. I recognize that every client's experience is unique. My therapeutic approach is tailored to address their specific concerns. With effort, you can rediscover your strengths and move forward to a happier life.
As a therapist, I have worked in a variety of arenas; medical, business, schools and with at risk groups. I have experience in providing critical incident stress debriefings, executive coaching and consultation and leading experiential workshops. I am a Certified Daring Way(tm) Facilitator and trained with Dr. Brené Brown author of Daring Greatly and Rising Strong. The Daring Way(tm) is a based on Dr. Brown’s research the primary focus is on increasing authenticity, addressing vulnerability, developing shame resilience and, learning to live wholeheartedly.
