Rachael Hyatt

I completed my training at the Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work and the Sol Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California. Before transitioning into private practice, I provided mental health services to adults in various hospital-based settings in Salt Lake City and New York City. My experience also includes providing mental health services to adult and teenage victims of domestic violence in Southern California. I have expertise in anxiety, depression, chronic illness, grief and loss, domestic violence, and have expanded my services to welcome clients dealing with relationship issues and culture/ethnic identity issues. My practice is based in cognitive behavioral therapy, strongly utilizing techniques of ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy), and mindfulness.

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband chasing waves and experiencing new cultures around the world.
