AMCAP’s 40th Anniversary

Spirituality and Psychotherapy: Past, Present, and Future

The AMCAP Board is committed to producing educational conferences of the highest caliber.  We invite you to join us in delivering a learning experience that advances the education and field of counseling professionals while   bringing to light the truths found in LDS gospel principles. We are now accepting proposals for presentations.  We   encourage research-based, innovative and creative presentations that help counseling professionals gain skills and knowledge.  This year, the convention theme is Spirituality and Psychotherapy: Past, Present, and Future. The deadline to submit your proposal is Sunday, March 15, 2015.

Please include the following- (incomplete proposals will not be accepted) MUST USE PROVIDED FORM :

1. Presenter name(s) and credentials (at least one presenter must have a master’s degree or higher) and email
2. Presentation title
3. Presentation topic (choose from list of topics below)
4. Requested length of presentation (option of 1, 1.5 or 2 hour block)
5. Presentation summary (brief description of the presentation)
6. Learning objectives (at least 3, but 5 preferred; see guidelines provided)
7. References of research supporting your presentation (at least 3, but 5 preferred; see sample provided)
8. Statement of how diversity will be included
9. Disclosure of potential conflicts of interest. (Clearly describe any commercial support for the CE program, presentation, or instructor. Any other relationship that could be reasonably construed as a conflict of interest must be disclosed.)
10. Commitment to ensure security of tests and proprietary information. (Clearly describe how you will ensure the security of any testing materials or proprietary information included in your presentation.)
11. Biosketch including your credentials, current employment, licensure and published articles or clinical experience relating to the presentation topic.
